[Insight] Reporter Jeon Hyun-young = Woori Card is running an event offering half-price admission to palaces and royal tombs.
On the 19th, Woori Card announced it will run a 50% discount event on admission to major palaces and royal tombs in Seoul and Gyeonggi to mark the launch of its 'Card of Standards POINT' card.
The event runs from April 18 to the end of June, with half-price discounts available when paying with the 'Card of Standards POINT' card.
Benefits apply at 21 sites, including the Four Grand Palaces — Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, and Deoksugung — plus Jongmyo Shrine and the Joseon royal tombs.
The benefit is available once per person per month, up to 2,000 won.
Woori Card launched the new 'Card of Standards POINT' on the 2nd, combining strong point-accumulation benefits with artistic design.
The card is notable for offering an industry-leading base accumulation rate of 0.8% across all categories, with unlimited accumulation once the prior month's spending reaches 300,000 won.
The card plate design is the industry's first to capture a Korean aesthetic, applying Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's work 'Excess Is as Bad as Deficiency' for an artistic feel.
