Woori Card announced on the 13th that 'Card of Standards' has surpassed 2 million cards issued 9 months after launch.
Woori Card said the key factors were providing point and discount benefits optimized for customer needs and spending patterns through big data analysis, and composing the plate design using a work by Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung.
As Card of Standards shows a usage rate and per-person spending amount about 10% higher than existing general-purpose products, Woori Card expects to see growth in new members and expanded market share. With premium and mileage-type cards also slated for release, the strong sales momentum is expected to continue.
Woori Card is running a customer appreciation event through the 25th of this month to mark the 2-million-enrollment milestone for Card of Standards. Among customers who spend 50,000 won or more on the Card of Standards series, 1,600 will be selected by drawing to receive prizes including an LG Styler, LG Pra.L masks, AirPods, and a Starbucks diary set with two free beverage coupons.
