In a follow-up article to the "100 People Who Will Shine Korea in 10 Years" feature, the Dong-A Ilbo's special reporting team asked each figure, "If you could turn back time, what age would you want to return to?" Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung left the question blank and instead shared her thoughts over the phone, saying she had "lived so hard that it would be frightening to go back," and that her only concern was how to live going forward. The article noted that, having double-majored in business administration during college, she made three times the effort of others and, at age 25 the previous year, set a record by selling out all the Oriental figure paintings at her solo exhibition.

100 People United by Positive Thinking

Looking into the secrets of success and happiness

Everyone has a moment in the past they wish they could return to. Some wish to correct past mistakes, and many harbor a desire to revisit beautiful bygone days.

The Dong-A Ilbo's special reporting team asked the "100 People Who Will Shine Korea in 10 Years," "If you could turn back time, what age would you want to return to?" Their answers were different from what was expected.

(Omitted — life's best moments, word cloud analysis, and interviews with other figures such as Kang Sue-jin and Kang Won-gyu)

Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung left the question entirely blank. In a phone call, she said, "I've lived so hard that it would be frightening to go back," adding that "the only thing I worry about is how to live from here on." While majoring in Oriental painting, she chose business administration as a double major in her junior year of college, seeking another path for growth in the art field. Determined to study three times harder than others, she never left school before 11 p.m. This effort led to a record the following year, at age 25, when she sold out every single Oriental figure painting at her solo exhibition — a category even art enthusiasts are said to be reluctant to purchase.
