Yonhap News reported that the Seoul Metropolitan Government selected broadcast personality couple Hong Hyun-hee and Jaysun (real name Yeon Je-seung) as Seoul Promotional Ambassadors, and that at the appointment ceremony on the 29th it will also present plaques of appreciation to actor Kim Na-woon, architect Yoo Hyun-joon, and Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung, who were active throughout the year. (Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Ko Hyun-sil = The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 28th that it has selected broadcast personality couple Hong Hyun-hee and Jaysun (real name Yeon Je-seung) as Seoul Promotional Ambassadors.
The appointment ceremony will be held on the 29th at 6 PM at Seoul Citizens Hall in the basement of City Hall, combined with the '2019 Seoul Promotional Ambassadors' Night.'
Comedian Hong Hyun-hee and interior designer Jaysun, a couple with the wife older than the husband who married last year, have won viewers' affection appearing on various broadcasts, including TV Chosun's 'Taste of a Wife.'
Sharing their thoughts, Hong Hyun-hee and Jaysun said, "Seoul is the foundation of our life together as a couple," and, "We'll share our experience of living as a newlywed couple in Seoul."
At the Seoul Promotional Ambassadors' Night, plaques of appreciation will be presented to actor Kim Na-woon, architect Yoo Hyun-joon, and Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung, who were especially active as Promotional Ambassadors throughout the year.
A charity auction of cherished items donated by the Seoul Promotional Ambassadors will also be held. Singer Zico offered up clothing and a hat he regularly wears, and chef Choi Hyun-seok donated one of his cherished figures. Broadcast personalities Park Soo-hong, Kim Mi-hwa, Daniel Lindemann, and others also donated cherished items.
Serving as the special auctioneer leading the charity auction is actor Lee Kwang-gi.
