[Seoul = Newsis] Reporter Yoon Seul-gi = Broadcast personality couple Hong Hyun-hee and Jaysun will be appointed Seoul Metropolitan Government Promotional Ambassadors at the '2019 Seoul Metropolitan Government Promotional Ambassadors' Night: Stars Share Their Light' event, to be held on the 29th at Seoul City Hall.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 28th, Hong Hyun-hee and Jaysun will receive their appointment plaques from Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon at the event that day and begin their activities as Seoul Promotional Ambassadors.
At the '2019 Seoul Metropolitan Government Promotional Ambassadors' Night: Stars Share Their Light' event that follows the appointment ceremony, the Seoul Promotional Ambassadors' activities for the year will be reviewed and plans for 2020 will be shared.
Part 1 of the event is planned as a year-end gathering bringing together the Seoul Promotional Ambassadors in one place. It will feature the appointment ceremony for new Promotional Ambassadors and the presentation of plaques of appreciation to Promotional Ambassadors who were especially active in their promotional work throughout 2019. The plaques of appreciation go to actor Kim Na-woon, architect Yoo Hyun-joon, and Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung.
Part 2 of the event features a charity auction concert co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and K Auction, a leading Korean art auction house. The charity auction concert is an event held so that Seoul Promotional Ambassadors can directly put the spirit of sharing into practice through a charity auction of cherished items (talent donations).
A number of special cherished items from the Seoul Promotional Ambassadors were submitted for this charity auction concert. Many ambassadors, including singer Zico, actors Kim Na-woon and Park Jin-hee, broadcast personalities Park Soo-hong, Kim Mi-hwa, and Daniel Lindemann, chef Choi Hyun-seok, editor-in-chief Park Ji-ho, cartoonist Kang Ju-bae, and announcer Lee Eon-kyung, donated cherished items and talent.
Singer Zico donated clothing and a hat he regularly wears, while chef Choi Hyun-seok donated one of his cherished figures, both drawing particular attention.
The Seoul Promotional Ambassadors operate under the vision of being 'people who love Seoul and talk about Seoul.' They are composed of experts from a wide range of fields, including broadcasting, society, architecture, culture, and the arts.
