Franchise Korean blending-tea cafe Ogada (CEO Choi Seung-yoon) has launched a limited-edition Lunar New Year gift set produced through an art collaboration with Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung.
The five kinds of "Kim Hyun Jung Art Collaboration Lunar New Year Limited Edition Gift Set" each pair Ogada's signature blending teas with an Ogada tea bottle, allowing customers to enjoy blending tea anytime, anywhere. Kim Hyun Jung's collaborative artwork is applied to the gift box for added distinction.
The Lunar New Year limited-edition gift sets are: the "Hallabong Omija Limited Set" (46,000 won), made with Mungyeong omija berries and Jeju hallabong grown at high altitudes above 600 meters; the "Yuja Orange Limited Set" (42,000 won), featuring rosy apple tea bags blended with sea-breeze-grown citron, hibiscus, and rose hip; the "Plum Lemon Limited Set" (44,000 won), made with green plums from the pristine Hadong region at the foot of Mt. Jiri and vitamin-rich lemon syrup; the "Apple Rooibos Limited Set" (44,000 won), a refreshing blend of youthful rooibos tea and green plums from Hadong; and the "Hallabong Green Limited Set" (42,000 won), a clean-finishing blend of Jeju hallabong and green tea — five varieties in total that customers can choose from to suit their taste.
The accompanying Ogada blending tea bottle is made of heat-resistant glass, letting customers enjoy their tea warm, and comes with a built-in infuser suited for loose-leaf tea.
To mark the Lunar New Year, starting on the 5th, customers who purchase the limited-edition gift set at any Ogada store will receive two kinds of art coasters featuring Kim Hyun Jung's work. The limited-edition gift set can also be ordered by courier through the head office's main phone line, in addition to in-store purchase.
Ogada will also hold a New Year's welcome event together with artist Kim Hyun Jung at its Lotte World Mall Jamsil branch on the 14th. Running from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the 5th floor, participants in this event will receive three kinds of Kim Hyun Jung's year-end/New Year cards, and can sample the specially priced Kim Hyun Jung art collaboration set on the day of the event and purchase it at 50% off.
