Woori Card announced that, to mark the launch of its new product 'Card Jeongseok POINT,' designed with Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's work 'Gwayubulgeup,' it would run an event from April 19 through the end of June offering a 50% discount on admission to 21 major palaces and royal tombs in Seoul and Gyeonggi. Following the launch on the 2nd of its new product 'Card Jeongseok POINT,' which pairs point-back benefits with a design by Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung titled 'Gwayubulgeup,' Woori Card is running a variety of events.
Woori Card announced on the 19th that it is running an admission-discount event at major palaces and royal tombs in Seoul and Gyeonggi to mark the 'Card Jeongseok POINT' launch.
The event runs through the end of June, and paying with the 'Card Jeongseok POINT' card for palace and royal-tomb admission earns a 50% discount.
In particular, benefits apply at 21 sites including ▲Gyeongbokgung, ▲Changdeokgung, ▲Changgyeonggung, ▲Deoksugung, Jongmyo Shrine, and the Joseon royal tombs, up to 2,000 won per person, once a month.
On top of that, 10 special categories frequently used by customers earn up to 5% back: mobile carriers, public transit, and EV charging at 5%, coffee and movies at 3%, and department stores, large discount marts, online shopping, gas, and overseas spending at 1%.
Registering the card with major simple-payment services such as Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, Payco, and SSG Pay adds a further 3%.
A Woori Card representative said, "Card Jeongseok Point offers an industry-leading base accrual rate of 0.8% across all categories," adding, "customers can accrue without limit once their prior-month spending reaches 300,000 won."
