[Daily Grid = reporter Lee Tae-han] Woori Card announced that, marking Woori Card Sponsor Day, it will hold a 'Woori, Card Basics Day' event at the Nexen Heroes–KIA Tigers game on the 15th at Gocheok Sky Dome.

Before the game, a promotional booth on the second floor of the plaza outside the stadium will host a 'Home Run Basics' home-run-derby game for baseball fans, and a 'Photo Basics' photo zone will let fans take pictures with Nexen Heroes cheerleaders.

At that day's game, Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung, the artist behind 'Gwayubulgeup,' the work used in the 'Card Basics POINT' card design, will throw the ceremonial first pitch, and lucky gifts will be given to fans at the stadium through a mid-inning event.

A Woori Card official said, "We've prepared a variety of fun events themed around 'Basics' for baseball fans," adding, "We hope everyone enjoys the players' great plays at Gocheok Dome and makes many good memories."

Meanwhile, on the 2nd of last month, Woori Card launched its new product 'Card Basics POINT,' combining strong point-earning benefits with artistic design.

It surpassed 100,000 cards issued three weeks after launch, and is expected to comfortably pass 300,000 by the end of this month, continuing its strong run in the market; customers who received the actual card have also given it high praise on social media as "a card that's even prettier in person."
