[Asia Economy, reporter Jung Hyun-jin] Woori Card announced on the 19th that it will run a palace and royal tomb admission discount event to mark the launch of its new product 'Card of Standards POINT.'

The event runs through the end of June, and paying palace and royal tomb admission fees with this card earns a 50% discount. Benefits apply at 21 sites, including the Four Grand Palaces — Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, and Deoksugung — plus Jongmyo Shrine and the Joseon royal tombs, with a discount of up to 2,000 won once per person per month.

Woori Card launched 'Card of Standards Point,' combining strong point-accumulation benefits with artistic design, on the 2nd. The card offers an industry-leading base accumulation of 0.8% across all categories, with unlimited accumulation once the prior month's spending reaches 300,000 won.

The card plate incorporates a Korean aesthetic into its design, applying Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's work 'Excess Is as Bad as Deficiency' to the card's size.

More details on the event and product can be found on the Woori Card website and mobile app.
