Woori Card announced on the 4th that it is holding a launch event for its new product 'Card-ui-Jeongseok WOWRI,' released to celebrate the Card-ui-Jeongseok series surpassing 3 million cards issued and its first anniversary.

Woori Card is running a bonus-point event from this month through the end of May.

Customers who receive the card and register and pay with it on the four major simple-payment services (Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, Payco, SSG Pay) to earn the 3% extra accrual benefit will, by lottery draw, have a total of 10,000 winners receive double the points they accrued.

'Card-ui-Jeongseok WOWRI' was released on the 1st. Its name combines 'Wow,' reflecting the surprising achievement of surpassing 3 million cards in the industry's fastest time, with 'Uri' (Woori), forming 'WOWRI.'

The product's main benefits are identical to 'Card-ui-Jeongseok POINT,' which specializes in point accrual.

It offers 0.8% accrual on spending at all affiliated merchants, and up to 5.0% at special categories customers frequently use. Compared to the existing 'Card-ui-Jeongseok POINT,' the accrual benefit for duty-free store payments has been enhanced.

Registering and paying with this card through major simple-payment services such as Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, Payco, and SSG Pay earns an additional 3% accrual. Customers can also earn each payment service's own points, making it especially useful for customers who prefer simple payments.

The card design is based on the work of Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung, using basic geometric elements and the five traditional Korean colors (obangsaek) to convey a variety of hues. It achieves a distinctive aesthetic by expressing the harmony of yin-yang and the five elements.

The WOWRI card's annual fee is 12,000 won for the overseas-and-domestic version and 10,000 won for the domestic-only version. Further details on the product or event can be found on the Woori Card website or mobile app.
