Woori Card announced on the 4th that it had launched 'Card Basics WOWRI.'

'Card Basics WOWRI' was named 'WOWRI' by adding the words 'wow,' meaning astonishment at surpassing 3 million units sold in the fastest time in the industry, and 'we' (uri).

The product's main benefits are the same as 'Card Basics POINT,' which offers benefits specialized for point accumulation. It accumulates 0.8% of spending at all merchants and up to 5% of spending at special categories customers frequently use. Compared to the existing 'Card Basics POINT,' it has strengthened accumulation benefits for duty-free purchases.

Registering the WOWRI card with major simple payment services such as Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, Payco, and SSG Pay and paying with it also earns an additional 3% accumulation benefit.

Great effort was also put into differentiating the card design. Based on Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's design, it makes use of basic geometric elements, colored with obangsaek, the traditional five cardinal colors, to allow a sense of varied hues.
