Jaguar Land Rover to Reopen Its Garosu-gil Studio on the 9th
- Strengthened customer experience programs... Christmas and year-end events also planned
- Display and consultation for Jaguar and Land Rover's high-performance model lines
- Also planned: a signing event on the 11th with 'Naesoong Story' Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung
[Herald Economy = reporter Park Hye-rim] Jaguar Land Rover Korea announced it will newly reopen its 'Jaguar Land Rover Studio,' located on Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, on the 9th.
The Jaguar Land Rover Studio, which first opened last September, has drawn more than 15,000 visitors in two months, establishing itself as a landmark of Garosu-gil.
The newly renovated and reopened studio strongly emphasizes the distinctive British heritage shared by Jaguar and Land Rover.
On the first floor, visitors can experience the flagship luxury sedan Jaguar XJ, which carries Jaguar's own sensibility built up over 82 years; the sports car Jaguar F-TYPE, which embodies Jaguar's racing heritage; and the performance SUV Jaguar F-PACE, which was simultaneously named '2017 World Car of the Year' and '2017 World Car Design of the Year.'
Visitors are also given the chance to test-drive a range of Jaguar and Land Rover lineups, including the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, with a one-stop service that allows consultation and even contract signing on-site.
The biggest change with this reopening is that there is now much more for visitors to enjoy. A racing simulation game, letting visitors indirectly experience Jaguar's performance, and a photo booth-style printer have been installed. There is also a 'My Style Car ATM,' which matches visitors with the Jaguar Land Rover model best suited to their lifestyle and lets them take home a sticker of that model as a souvenir. For the year-end holidays, a Christmas hashtag event and a '2018 Year of the Dog Wishbone Bracelet' giveaway event are also planned.
On the 11th, the basement-level gallery will host a special opportunity for visitors to meet Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung in person and get her autograph. Regarded as one of Korea's leading young artists, Kim Hyun Jung has drawn public attention through her 'Naesoong Story' series, which is based in Oriental painting and portrays the cheeky, unrestrained 'Naesoong girl' free from others' gaze.
Baek Jeong-hyeon, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover Korea, said, "We hope many customers will visit the studio and enjoy a special time experiencing the distinctive sensibility and pleasure that only Jaguar Land Rover can offer."
