Paradise City announced on the 31st that it will hold the "Extraordinary (Tiger) Festival" for the upcoming Lunar New Year, offering the whole family a chance to experience distinctive art-tainment (Art+Entertainment) content and a variety of enjoyable activities.

This Lunar New Year festival, running through the 20th of next month, will be held at the Paradise City Plaza Square, decorated as a "Paradise House." A wide range of programs has been prepared to suit different tastes, from an exhibition of works by a world-renowned Korean painter to traditional Korean music performances, folk game experiences, and prize events.

First, as the main program of the festival, a special exhibition by globally recognized Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung has been arranged. The exhibition design for this special exhibition was directed by artist Shin Min-su, who served as exhibition director, and about 30 pieces from Kim Hyun Jung's signature "Naesoong" series will be displayed. This series, themed around women in hanbok going about their daily lives, expresses the interests of contemporary people in a trendy and distinctive way, and is much loved both in Korea and abroad. A photo zone set against the backdrop of the "Irworobongdo" (Painting of the Sun, Moon, and Five Peaks) has also been prepared so visitors can take commemorative photos as if they themselves were the protagonists of a Korean folk painting.

Exciting folk game programs are also planned. Visitors can enjoy a variety of games with their whole family and create special memories, including DIY ttakjichigi (Korean paper flipping), neol-twigi (seesaw jumping), jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking), and large-scale yutnori. The folk game experiences will run through the 1st of next month.

In addition, a customer participation event open to all visitors will be held. Those who apply via QR code authentication will be entered into a drawing for prizes including passes to the premium healing spa "Cimer" and the indoor theme park "Wonderbox." Other special events to make the Lunar New Year holiday even more festive have also been prepared without exception, including a gift event for visitors born in the Year of the Tiger and a fusion gugak (traditional Korean music) performance for the holiday.

Meanwhile, Paradise City is making multifaceted efforts to create a safe business environment, including running a "Chihyu (Healing Rest) Campaign" and establishing a dedicated HSE (Health Safety Environment) team for quarantine and hygiene management. It recently became the first integrated resort in Korea to obtain the Global Biorisk Advisory Council's GBAC STAR accreditation from the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) and the Forbes Travel Guide's VERIFIED® health and safety certification. This year's Lunar New Year "Extraordinary (Tiger) Festival" will operate programs by time slot according to capacity limits under government quarantine guidelines, and will require temperature checks, mask-wearing, hand sanitizing, and QR code registration. The resort also plans to space out event booths, regularly disinfect customer-contact areas and rental items, and maintain safe distancing among visitors to ensure thorough safety.
