Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung held her solo exhibition 'A Tray of Eggs, Marrying Age' at Keumboseong Art Center in Seoul to commemorate her Korea Young Artist Award, and Lee Beom-heon, chairman of the Korean Fine Arts Association, attended the opening event held on September 3 to offer congratulatory remarks. The opening event for Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's exhibition "A Tray of Eggs, Marrying Age," awarded the Korea Young Artist Award by the Korean Fine Arts Association (Chairman Lee Beom-heon), was held on the 3rd at Keumboseong Art Center in Seoul.
At the event, Lee Beom-heon, chairman of the Korean Fine Arts Association, attended the opening and expressed his support for artist Kim Hyun Jung's artistic spirit of communicating with the public through work that reflects our times, thanking her for her contribution to broadening the base of Korean painting with a youthful sensibility.
Known as a promising young Korean artist, Kim Hyun Jung explained through her work the thoughts on marriage held by today's generation, something people around thirty might well be pondering. Kim seriously grappled with the new roles and identity gained through marriage and the practical problems of marriage, turning a shared issue of her generation into a topic of discussion through art. She also hoped to create a meaningful moment for discussing the differing views on marriage held across generations.
At the opening event, a certificate was presented, prize money was donated, and the works were explained. Kim Hyun Jung's exhibition "A Tray of Eggs, Marrying Age" was held with the support of the Korean Fine Arts Association and Keumboseong Art Center, to commemorate Kim Hyun Jung's Korea Young Artist Award.
Meanwhile, artist Kim Hyun Jung donated her prize money to the Korean Fine Arts Association, hoping it would help young artists. Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's "A Tray of Eggs, Marrying Age" is on view at Keumboseong Art Center in Seoul through the 14th.
