The Flower Shoes My Mother Made Me
As my work Instinct makes clear, I'm instinctively drawn to high heels because of my short height. But high heels never quite matched the hanbok I like to wear day to day, so my mother — who is wonderfully skilled with her hands — made me a pair of flower shoes herself. Since they're shoes made in this world for no one but me, I always make sure to wear them on special occasions.
