In the 'Life Etcetera — Editor's Pick #exhibition' section of the April 2016 issue of fashion magazine InStyle, Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's solo exhibition 'Naesoong Amusement Park' (Gallery IS, through April 11) was introduced alongside other exhibitions. Naesoong Amusement Park
The tenth solo exhibition of Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung, who has drawn attention for bringing a girl in hanbok into everyday life with a lively, catchy story. It playfully captures a tomboyish girl who, despite her elegant hanbok attire, acts anything but composed. This exhibition, ⟨Naesoong Amusement Park⟩, began from the question, 'Where is the everyday breakthrough for adults?' Throughout the viewing, you somehow feel as though you've experienced a moment of escape. At Gallery IS through April 11.
DON'T MISS Various 'Naesoong Programs' have been prepared, including 'Naesoong Charging Station,' where you color in a coloring book, 'Naesoong Photo Studio,' where you take photographs, and 'Naesoong Playground,' a program to experience paper toys.
