"Naesung Garden" is the signature piece of my "Naesung (naesung, ๋ด์, feigned innocence or affected modesty) Amusement Park" series. At about 2.5 m tall and 4 m wide, it's the second-largest work I've made, depicting the "naesung women" riding the carousel that symbolizes an amusement park.
A naesung woman taking a selfie on her smartphone,
a naesung woman delighted to hold a balloon like a child,
a naesung woman smiling and waving to a friend, family or lover,
the naesung women returned to a child's heart.
The naesung women in the painting reflect my own self โ someone who loves amusement parks.
