Korean Painter Kim Hyun Jung

These days, dreaming of art that communicates, I work every day, even weekends, and whenever I want inspiration I always come here. Doesn't the way hanok and modern houses blend together here look a lot like the paintings I make? It's been quite a while since I've had time to rest like this. Looking back, 2016 has been a year I've run through without a break. I successfully wrapped up my eleventh solo exhibition and also set up a scholarship for junior artists. Let me catch my breath for a moment before running again. Next year I'll finally be able to hold the overseas exhibition I've always dreamed of. Even if the sleepless nights of work continue, I think I'll be happy.
