Arirang TV (CEO Bang Seok-ho, www.arirang.co.kr), a leader in international broadcast exchange and cooperation, is producing a distinctive commercial video featuring young Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung. The video, made in collaboration with Kim, brings her paintings to life on screen, drawing attention.

This special video, created through collaboration with Arirang TV, is broadcast worldwide, airing dozens of times a day. It was released starting April 6, 2015, and public response has been enthusiastic from the start of the broadcast.

Seven works appear in the video — 'Shall We Dance,' 'The One Who Moves Me,' 'Trembling,' 'Ready,' 'A Chaste Woman,' 'TGIF,' and 'I Need You' — broadcast to viewers in each region worldwide via domestic and overseas broadcast/communication satellite transponders and ground stations.

The video, broadcast globally, carries great significance in introducing Korean hanbok and Korean painting to the world. Kim Hyun Jung double-majored in Oriental Painting and Business Administration at the College of Fine Arts, Seoul National University, completed her master's degree in Oriental Painting at the same graduate school, and teaches at Anyang Arts High School and in various other lecture settings.

She has so far held five solo exhibitions under the theme 'Naesoong Story,' with every exhibited painting selling out each time, generating buzz. She has also won enormous public affection via social media, achieving explosive popularity that crosses online and offline boundaries in the art world.

Her fresh ideas, themes, and techniques have earned her the description "bold," and she is a rising star of the Korean painting world, attracting attention for attempting change grounded in the theory and technique of traditional Oriental painting.

Korean painter Kim Hyun Jung's challenges know no end. This is not her first collaboration. She has previously collaborated with Glaceau Vitaminwater, the shampoo brand Ryo, clothing brand Otjitneun Won and Chakhan Sajin Yeonguso (Good Photo Institute), and Artistry. She is also currently running a distinctive outdoor advertising campaign with Kyobo Life Planet Life Insurance.

Kim Hyun Jung has also received the 34th Korean Art Critics Association's Notable Artist Award, been named to Dong-A Ilbo's '100 People Who Will Shine Korea in 10 Years,' selected as one of Perrier's 150th Anniversary Future Artists, and appointed publicity ambassador for Cambodia's 'Hope Library,' earning numerous accolades as a young artist recognized across many fields.
