The camera followed me all the way up an indoor climbing wall.

In collaboration with Arirang International Broadcasting, which introduces Korean culture to 134 countries worldwide, the artist produced channel ID and CF videos capturing the process behind the Naesoong series and bringing the figures within the paintings to life. Episode 1, aired from April 6, 2015, showed the actual working process of the Naesoong series — drawing figures using traditional Korean painting techniques and rendering the jeogori (Korean jacket) through hanji-paper collage — and was broadcast dozens of times a day around the world. Episode 2 was filmed while the artist actually went rock climbing at an indoor climbing gym; the centerpiece of that video was Shall We Dance, the largest work in the Naesoong series at over five meters tall. Across all four episodes, a total of seven works appeared, including Shall We Dance, You Move Me, Trembling, Ready, Innocent Woman, TGIF, and I Need You.

Being able to convey the contemporary transformation of Korean painting to viewers around the world was, for the artist, a deeply rewarding experience.
